K.C. Stool/Stand

Wow...I got my stand today and am amazed that it took so long to market something so usable and elegant. Congrats to you K.C. Strings. I have a gig with David Grusin in a few days and the stand/stool will make it all the easier and convenient. Thanks again.

Bass Endpin

I'm quite pleased with the wooden endpin with the carbon fibre rod. It has eliminated a noticeable bit of weight, which is important if you're a subway traveler like me. I'm also pretty sure the bass is more resonant than when it was spiked into the floor. This is an excellent product.

A couple of comments from happy Buggie owners:

This double bass buggie is fantastic! You"ve saved my spine, not to mention my sanity. It"s easy to put on, and easy to trundle the bass around. Makes moving a bass as easy as walking around.

Susan Bradley

Just a quick note to say how delighted I am with the Bass Buggie now that I have had a chance to use it, So easy to strap on and take off in seconds - a real boon when transporting through long Hotel corridors etc. It is absolutely brilliant. I will certainly recommend it to my fellow bass players at every opportunity.

Best regards,

John Monney

Wanted to tell you how much I appreciate my bass buggy. Has made life much easier ! Several fellow bassists have tried it out and are interested. Many thanks to the guy who thought it up and developed it. I especially like its ability to stand by itself while I open the door on my SUV ! Keep up the good work.

The few Buggies I have sold here have made great impressions with their new owners. No idea how I ever lived without one.

Thanks for this great product, by the way! It has nearly saved my career, as I have a back injury that has made carrying the bass a real pain.

The K.C. Strings Double Bass Buggie is an ingenious way to roll around a bass! It?s easy to attach and creates no stress on the lower block.

Where were you guys 50 years ago? I can?t believe how beautiful this buggie works. The first time I used it was at Hotel Hershey in Hershey, PA. Naturally, musicians are second rate citizens so we enter thru the rear & thru the kitchen. I go down a service ramp, thru 3 big rubber doors, down a hallway, up an elevator, & across the hall into the ballroom. For a 72 year old bugger, this was a cakewalk. Thanks again.

We (from England) bought the Bass Buggie a few months ago but this is the first time we have really used it properly. I am 10 and we had to park in a car park to get to my Bass lesson. My teacher thought it was really good for wheeling longer distances. It is really smooth and the video on the website is quite good for showing you how to fix it on. The steering is quite hard at first but I guess we're all learner drivers when it comes to Bass Buggies! However, I think you could make a couple of improvements to your website:

1. Put captions in or underneath the video, stating how to fix the buggie on.

2. Put some close-up shots of how to fix the bungie round the neck, since the video doesn't really show you.

But the actual product is great, and I would give it 9/10

The Staff! (and the bass buggie)

I was at KMEA on February the 27th this year to play with an intercollegiate band. I stopped to look at the K.C. Strings booth and was looking at the instruments they brought with them. While I was talking with Mac and Dustin who were running the booth we started talking about the bass I was borrowing to play the concert with and I lamented about it's poor quality. I motioned over to one of the basses they had on display and said how my bass was almost identical to that particular one.

Mac then asked me when my concert was and when I told him he said that I could borrow the K.C. Strings bass to play the concert. I left the booth with a bass, case and bass buggy (Which is one of the best inventions for the bass) and played my concert. The bass sounded fabulous and I couldn't have been happier. I have always been impressed with K.C. Strings and the people who work there, but this weekend I was blown over by the customer service the store offers.

Both Mac and Dustin recognized me from when I have brought my bass into the shop to be looked at. Thank You K.C. Strings for making such fine instruments and having such a knowledgeable and helpful staff.

Peg Leg Bass Endpins

Hi! I am the "ask a Pro" for classical double bass on TalkBass.com, where you advertise, and I am very impressed with the peg-leg design for using a straight pin in either the straight or angled (Laborie style) direction. I helped develop the Laborie pin with Christian and Francois and I do believe you have hit on the perfect answer. I would LOVE to check one of these out sometime.

I hope you will visit our site: www.arizonabassplayers.org. We are newly form non-profit, in cooperation with the three major state university schools of music in the state (and their bass teachers) to promote the education and performance of bassists of all natures. Perhaps you would be interested in advertising on our site our in the Festival program, etc.

Hope to hear from you.. and again, bravo!!!
