Happy Holidays!
We hope you had a delightful Thanksgiving and are taking advantage of this holiday season by setting some time aside to enjoy at least one performance out of the many throughout the city! If you are in the mood for the traditional Nutcracker or want to sit back and be soothed with the sounds of orchestral strings, there is something for everyone!
"Overture to Winter" Premiere!
Liberty Symphony Orchestra's December 4th concert has added a special piece to the mix! Not only is the orchestra featuring many classics from The Nutcracker, but it is also premiering a new composition by K.C. Strings studio teacher Robert Hagenbuch Jr. He has described "Overture to Winter" as an "homage to Tschaikovsky" and inspired by Tchaikovsky's Symphony #1 first movement entitled "Winter Dreams."

Bob Hagenbuch has been affiliated with K.C. Strings for more than 10 years, and does a marvelous job directing the K.C. Strings Summer Music Camp each year.

Quick Tip From Our Staff
"The best thing beginner students can do is play at home a little each day. The best thing a parent can do is to encourage them. You can't tell them it is important and then say they are bad at it."
