Now that "rental season" has come to a close, we want to welcome all those who have returned or are new to our 2,000+ instrument rental program! Ariana (right) is one of our MANY new clients. Welcome!
We look forward to being of assistance however we can!
Award Winning Siberian Virtuosi Coming to Kansas City!
We are excited to announce that one of our long time clients, Leonid Fleishaker, has arranged for the internationally recognized string ensemble Siberian Virtuosi from Yakutia (a republic of Russia) to perform Sunday, October 30th, 3:00 p.m., at the Liberty Performing Arts Theater!

Leonid Fleishaker is a professional violinist with a Ph.D. from the Manhattan School of Music. In the last four years, Fleishaker has come to K.C. Strings to rent cellos and basses for nationwide tours with the National Symphony Orchestra of Cuba, Russian State Symphony Orchestra and the Jerusalem Symphony Orchestra.
Quick Tip From Our Staff
This month's "Quick Tip" is from Cheyenne Stucky, who is a violin instructor herself and has been a wonderful asset to K.C. Strings Olathe shop during the rental rush!
"Don't tighten your bow too tight! I see a lot of kids who are used to doing that---I used to do it myself. If the bow is too tight, it inhibits your playing and affects the sound."
