- Here's What's New at K.C.Strings! -

Summer is always an exciting time for musicians because there are so many live music performances and festivals happening all over, and, for students numerous camps and workshops to experience!

Having said that...

In July we finished our 10th annual K.C. Strings summer music camp!
Bob Hagenbuch Jr. organizes and directs the camp, which serenaded our Merriam shop
with sections from Fiddler on the Roof, the Halo theme, and music from Grieg.

Excellent job students, who worked hard all week! And thank you, Bob, for all the work
you do to make this camp happen each year!

We always love hearing good news about K.C. Strings' clients. Recently we were informed that one of our faithful clients, Isaiah Ward, was accepted to the Cleveland Institute of Music and will begin studying there this fall! Isaiah is a student of one of our long time professional colleagues, Robert Goodlett, who is Assistant Principal Bass of the Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and co-founder of the Quattro Strings Academy. Goodlett plays on an Anton Krutz signature bass, and Isaiah plays on a 7/8 size KRUTZ 300 bass.

Isaiah studied bass with Goodlett from 7th through 12th grade. He was chosen to do a featured performance of the famed Bottesini Concerto Number 2, First Movement, with his high school orchestra during his senior year at Lawrence Central High School in Indiana.

CONGRATULATIONS, Isaiah Ward!
